Parkside Cafe is hands down one of the best local spots around! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and comfortable. It has that perfect neighborhood vibe where you instantly feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Everything we ordered came out perfectly, and you can tell they really care about quality. What truly made our experience outstanding was our waitress, Karena. She was incredible! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made excellent recommendations, kept everything running smoothly, and made sure we had everything we needed without us ever having to ask. Her positive energy and professionalism really stood out and made our visit extra special. If you’re going to Parkside Cafe, definitely ask for Karena — she’s the best! We’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here so many time since moving from Buffalo NY and this is one of the best diners I’ve been to down here. Most wonderful staff, Karina is always amazing!! AND THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC 🥰
Shantel was awesome! We came to Tampa for a bike meet and found this spot and thought we’d check it out. We had a group of 16 and we weren’t sure if we would be able to dine. We were immediately greeted by the owner who was so so sweet and gave us the backstory on the cafe! They were super accommodating and found a spot for all of us. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Next time we’re in Tampa, we’ll definitely come back!
Love this place. Usually come here for breakfast, which never disappoints. Lunch was awesome as well. Staff is super friendly and attentive...thanks Karena (and everyone else)
Stopped in for breakfast and was genuinely impressed. The food came out fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly hearty — the sandwiches especially were delicious with really great ingredients (hello avocado!!!). Everything tasted like it was made with care instead of rushed diner-style. Service was just as good — Karen’s wasfriendly, attentive, and fast without making you feel rushed. The whole vibe feels like a neighborhood spot that takes pride in what they serve. Definitely a new breakfast go-to. Highly recommend!
Karena made the experience quite exceptional! She consistently checked in on us while we ate and never made sure we waited for anything. Food was spectacular and well made. As locals, this is a go-to place to get great food.

This was my first visit to this place today, and I am so loving it! The atmosphere is such a good diner atmosphere, and everyone seems clam and happy. The food was amazing! They made my over medium eggs perfectly and the hashbrowns were so yummy (as recommended by my lovely server). And the mimosas are adorable! Great prices on everything I was shocked by the prices. Shantel was my secret and she was so sweet and helpful and on top of her game even though it was pretty packed. I will absolutely be back and asking for Shantel again! So happy I found this place!
